Peru Trip

D-9 Peru Holy Spirit Encounter
My first visit to Peru in 2007 happened because two American missionaries—born and raised there—opened a door for me. Their parents and fellow workers had served across Peru and the Amazon in the 1970s under the American denomination.

When they became charismatic believers, mission funding was cut off, but they stayed continue mission outreaches in Amazon. They found each other and married, raised a family, trusted the Lord day by day, and launched outreach that won hearts and built durable local leadership.

Dennis Walker and Lynne Walker became a living testimony of faithful perseverance—eventually founding Dunamis Ministry (Las Vegas) and helping spark an independent movement that blessed countless Peruvians. Dennis went to be with the Lord in 2024, and I carry deep gratitude for the way God used their “yes” to shape my own calling and my love for the Peruvian churches.

And their story tells us something: when we stay faithful, God makes a way—even when people walk away. So let’s honor that legacy—not just with words, but by carrying the same spirit of faithfulness, unity, and love for Peru.
