“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
-
“Fought the good fight” — Paul viewed his life and ministry as a spiritual battle for truth, righteousness, and the Gospel of Christ.
-
“Finished the race” — He fulfilled the mission God gave him, persevering through hardship, persecution, and trials.
-
“Kept the faith” — Despite every challenge, Paul remained faithful to Christ and His calling to the very end.
It’s a beautiful model for every believer — to live with purpose, endurance, and unwavering faith, so that at life’s end, we too can say with confidence that we have fought well, finished well, and remained faithful.
