About Chan Ham
Jonah, Prodigal Son, and Saul-Paul
I am Jonah who ran away from the calling of God.
I am the Prodigal Son who wandered far from the Father’s house.
And I am Saul, once blind to the very One who was pursuing me.
Yet the same God who redirected Jonah, embraced the Prodigal, and transformed Saul into Paul has met me again—this time not with judgment, but with mercy, assignment, and purpose. The God I once resisted has now recommissioned me. The Father I once ran from has welcomed me home. And the Lord I once ignored has placed His fire in my spirit once more.
Chan Ham grew up in a third-generation Christian family and has been walking in his charismatic gifts for over 40 years. He received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and Acts 2 experience at the age of 15 and first sensed his divine calling as early as the third grade, though he did not fully accept the commission until 2001.
His prophetic and apostolic office was activated through the ministries of Cindy Jacobs, Dr. Bill Hamon, and Peggy Cole along with impartations from other seasoned men and women of God. Over the years, Chan has been powerfully used in evangelism, deliverance, prophetic, and healing ministries, impacting lives across many settings. He has operated under all five-fold ministries and offices.
Over 34 years of global and cultural immersion experience. As a recently retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Chaplaincy, with a prior enlisted background in infantry and international business sales, I bring a unique blend of frontline insight and pastoral and servant leadership. Over my military career, I provided extensive counseling and Religious Support Operation support to All Service Members across all ranks and branches, including those within Special Operations Forces.
My experience is deeply rooted in operational ministry, organizational leadership, and crisis management in domestic and overseas settings. I have consistently demonstrated creativity in chapel programming and community outreach, building strong, resilient spiritual support systems. However, my main strengths also include internal operations, personnel management, and force structure coordination, making me well-equipped to lead and adapt in dynamic environments.
Tactically proficient, operationally competent, strategically mature, spiritually mature, and Resilient. I received the following strengths by Gallup StrengthsFinder: Context, Strategic, Achiever, Activator, and Futuristic.

Offset Ministry Training and Experience
Over the years, Chan has been invited to numerous Holy Spirit ministry meetings and services, where God has worked through him to preach the gospel, lead souls to repentance and salvation, cast out demons, administer deliverance, impart the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and serve in prophetic ministry. Just as God called Moses—at the age of 80 through the burning bush—to confront Pharaoh and lead the Israelites out of slavery, God is now calling Chan in this pivotal moment. His mission is to serve and uplift churches and believers through the transformative power of the Holy Spirit’s ministry.
Currently (Fall 2026), Chan is pursuing doctoral (Ph.D.) studies in the Department of Religion at the University of Georgia in Athens (UGA), where he continues to deepen his academic research while integrating Christian faith, charismatic ministry, and rigorous anthropological theological analysis.
Before, Chan tried to pursue his doctoral journeys at:
