The next generation of Prophetic Warriors

I am one of those who firmly believe that the political realm also needs prophets and the intercessory prayers of righteous believers. Leaders and nations are shaped not only by policy, but by the unseen power of prayer and the prophetic voice that calls them back to God’s purposes.

I recently attended a spiritual renewal conference in Santa Rosa, Florida, a four-day gathering focused on reviving the callings of those with apostolic and prophetic gifts. It was a powerful time of worship, intercession, and realignment with God’s mission. Many international groups and influential inner city preachers attended from all over the world.

A 91-year-old man of God, who has spent more than 71 years in ministry, also shared his heart during the conference. Aware that these may be some of his final opportunities to celebrate his legacy, he poured out wisdom, passion, and encouragement to strengthen the Body of Christ and inspire a new generation of spiritual warriors. His words carried the weight of a lifetime of faithfulness, reminding us that the call of God never fades—it only deepens with time.

One story deeply moved me: a mission director who had served in Latin America once prayed for a young man named Nayib, leading him to receive Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and praying for the fullness of the Holy Spirit. That young man later became a president and a strong conservative leader—a living testimony of how obedience and prophetic ministry can transform nations. Another speaker, a pastor from Singapore with years of ministry in Southeast Asia, shared how he had prayed over many political and religious leaders, declaring God’s purpose and interests over their lives.

This conference reminded me that we, as believers—especially those who walk in the gifts and empowerment of the Holy Spirit—are called to intercede, speak truth, and carry the prophetic voice of our Father God into every sphere of influence. We must pray and deliver God's prophetic voices in politics and leadership. I’m genuinely looking forward to being used by God in new and greater ways in the days ahead.
